Nevada Marriage License Information.

You must obtain a Marriage License (7 days/week) from the Douglas County Administration Bldg. Located on Highway 50 (1 mile north of Round Hill Pines) at least 1 hour prior to your wedding.

   Mon-Thurs, 9 am to 8 pm
   Fri-Sat, 9 am to 9 pm
   Sun and holidays, 9 am - 5 pm
Application fee: $60.00 (cash fee) includes one certified copy

18 years of age and up -- Drivers License, Certified Copy of Birth Certificate, Passport, or Military I.D. (only one of the above required)

16-18 years of age -- parental consent (notarized) or parents present to give consent

Under 16 -- by court order only

License must be presented to minister prior to ceremony

California Marriage License Information.

This applies to all sites located within California, including Emerald Bay.  A California marriage license may be obtained at:

California Confidential Record of Marriage:  $45.00 (for couples who have been living together, valid only in the issuing county, requires no witnesses, is not a matter of public record, only the bride or groom can obtain a certified copy).

Additional Information:  If the bride or groom has been divorced within the last 90 days, a Final Decree of Divorce must be presented in order to obtain the license.
